About Esther Giordano
She has been a practicing Speech Language Pathologist for the past 25years. She has gained her experience in evaluating and treating children in early intervention, private practice, school based settings, and sensory gyms. Esther is a PROMPT level 2 trained therapist, a Hanen Certified therapist, Interactive Metronome Provider, Hippotherapy Level 1 therapist, and is certified in Therapeutic Listening, Astronaut Training, and Yoga/Pilates for children with special needs, MNRI for Tactile Integration, Oral Facial Reflex, and Postural Control. She has been trained in Oral Motor therapy and has an emphasis in DIR Floortime Approach. She is particularly interested in working with the dynamics of the family to increase functional communication skills. She provides private in-home therapy for children diagnosed with autism, apraxia, cerebral palsy, sensory integration disorders, receptive/expressive language delays and disorders as well as articulation/phonological disorders and auditory processing.
