In this episode I discuss with Dr. Hardison her dissertation research focussing on C Suite Executives thoughts and beliefs about wellness for themselves. We discuss how she selected the topic, and what her findings indicate. also how she intends to go about addressing the issues they presented.
Vivian holds a doctorate in human and organizational psychology and specializes
in self-care. Dr. Hardison is a certified professional coach and member of the Connecticut Chapter of the International Coaching Federation (ICF). She teaches, develops workshops, and is the creator of a workshop series called ‘Live with Coach Viv.’ Since 2010, she has been a graduate course facilitator for the Northeastern Division of the Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI), a teaching platform of Rotary International. She is a member of Paul Harris and the Bequest Society of Rotary International and is co-Chair of the Board of Ethics for her town.
Dr. Hardison promotes evidence-based self-care interventions that contribute to improving the mental health of healthcare professionals. Dr. Hardison believes Self-care is Healthcare and works alongside executives within healthcare organizations to identify and integrate suitable self-care practices. She is passionate about helping individuals and organizations remove obstacles that prevent them from achieving meaningful, productive experiences within and outside the workplace. Afterall, wellbeing is everybody’s birthright!
