The cannabis industry is growing fast. With growth comes challenges in the market. In this episode, Adam Torres and Joe Ori, Co-founder and Chief Communication Director at Six Labs, explore the cannabis industry and current trends.

Be a gentleman. Be a leader.
Those are the two principles by which Joseph “Joe” Ori has guided his professional career.
For over 20 years, Joe has been a fearless and highly accomplished trial attorney. He has been named an Illinois Super Lawyer for seven consecutive years, an honor bestowed on less than five percent of the nation’s attorneys.
Joe founded what is now Angelini, Ori + Abate Law right after graduation, dedicated to using his degree to help clients in the areas of catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death. The firm has recently expanded to Arizona.
Doing things his way. Joe has never been satisfied without a little chaos; in fact, he thrives in it. His eldest son calls him “the most intelligent and aware non-cynic you’ll ever find.”
This mentality has led Joe to a number of other business ventures, using his own experience and networks to expand his knowledge.
Drawing on his own injuries from years of football that resulted in three major spine surgeries, Joe has launched the cannabis company, Six Labs. After finding opioids to be an inadequate and concerning solution to his own health battles, Joe discovered the powerful impact medical cannabis had on himself, and on others. He now promotes safe cannabis use and hopes to bring comprehensive, smart legislation to the nation through his awareness.
Joe participates in a vast network of many of the nation’s most powerful and influential people in business, music, medicine, entertainment and politics. His previous business opportunities have included owning a record label, serving as the strategic partner to major financial and investment institutions, and public speaking.
Additionally, Joe is a successful restaurateur with locations in Arizona. He serves on the Board of Managers for the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the Board of Directors for the Chicago Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and is an active member of the American Association of Justice. Most importantly, Joe is the father to four fantastic children, who he is raising to be gentlemen [and one gentlewoman] and leaders.
