Hey, I’d like to welcome you to another episode of Mission Matters. Alright, so today we have Diana Miranda on the line, and she’s going to be participating in the upcoming Megamix Expo.
Well, that I’ve been talking about and promoting the Megamix Expo is going to take place on March 2nd and March 13th over at the Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California. And you can find out more information at Megamix Expo dot com. I’m gonna be there. I’m doing some live podcast interviews as well. And Diana’s gonna be an exhibitor there.
So, first off, Diana, welcome to the show. Thank you. Thank you. All right, so, 1st thing 1st, have you been to 1 of these Megamix Expos before, or is this your 1st time? No, I have been there about two years and a half ago I was invited by Tony and he had been invited me for a couple of years before that, but because I was out training out of the country and out and about in summertime, I was unable to go and finally he was able to, for whatever reason, it happened in February and I was able to make it.
And let me tell you, it was the most, I was, I felt like I was in Disneyland, like, I don’t know for us for a, for an expo and business expo. I love it. Like, what was so, what was so wonderful about it? Just the vibe, the people. People were there actually present. They’re wanting to learn about other people’s businesses.
The people that went there just to network you know, the spectators, you have the exhibitors, you have the vendors and then you have the people that, you know, go with their little goodie bags and what have you. But it was just. People were actually there to see what was available, what these small businesses had to offer to get value.
And I had some amazing conversations with people that were there. We were able to raffle some trainings off for people and they would run back to get their prize. And these people actually showed up to our trainings ready to rock and roll. And so that just shows you the quality of people that come to these events and want to participate and want to contribute and learn and take what the small businesses have to offer.
So, I, I saw my business increase. And I’ve been back ever since. So I do not miss any of the mega mix that Tony has. Actually, I’ve shared with other business people, especially from my network, and they’re plugging in. The next time I went back, I took like 15, 20. Now we’re taking 40 business partners.
Wow. What an amazing story. And I love a testament like this because I know they’re doing some special. I mean, this will be my first one attending, but I’ve been doing this interview series now for the last Couple of weeks and interviewing some of the individuals that will be participating and they said the same thing.
But hold on. This is, I got to tell Tony about this one. Make sure he listens to this. This should be on the website. Megamix Expo is like going to Disneyland. That’s a testimonial right there, right? I just had so much fun. Just everything that Megamix provides. You know, just a variety of the vendors and some entertainment, entertainment, food just this year.
They’re even gonna have a fashion show. I’m told I interviewed the individual that’s putting that together. I’m like, what? This is gonna be, it’s just getting bigger and bigger. The red carpet, the photo booths and, and, you know, It could look like, okay, people are just here to have a good time, but no, they’re there.
Yes, to get, network create, create relationships. But here’s the thing. If you’re going to be an expo you know exhibitor at the expo you also get to Know what to do after, after you’re there, you’ve had these conversations of value and you’ve made some connections and you know, you get people’s numbers and business cards as an exhibitor, right?
People showed interest in what you do. Maybe you have some appointments. You get to know how to follow up right in urgency, not wait, not just collect and have these business cards. Awesome phone numbers and people’s pictures and all these people spend money to give you, their business cards, but actually do something with it.
So, thing is pay your money. Come to the expo. I always say, look, it’s like, instead of you going to door knock or, go visit a thousand clients. You’re actually having a thousand people walking by your door and you get to talk to them. But now, will you follow up? Yeah, it’s great. And so, maybe you’re going to ask me the next question.
So what do you do? Right? No. So looking at participating and even just community building, something that’s pretty interesting to me is that you mentioned that you’re bringing, first time you brought X amount of people, then you brought more. Now, this time, 35, 50, are you, a connector of sorts, huh?
Like you definitely are. That’s a, that’s a skill. That’s a talent. Are you a connector? well, I love people and I love to share what works for me and what I do is I’m a transformational trainer, a life coach and an educator and I actually discovered these trainings, or I was invited 30 years to these transformational trainings, and it really allowed me to discover the blueprint of relationships.
Because people obviously to be able to bring that many people to have that many people gravitating around you, I can’t get 50 people to go anywhere. And maybe I can, but they don’t not not willingly. I’m like, come on, you’re going. Right. Right. Yeah. No, I’m sure you can. I’m sure you can. I’m sure you’re awesome too.
I’ve heard great things about you, Adam. So so what we do, or what I do, and my company does is exactly that. It’s train you on mastering relationships and. And that’s why this is so great, because I was able to see, hey, these blueprints that we’re training people is actually, they’re actually working for, especially for business people, because in business, it’s all about what relationships, right?
And forget it. Yes. You may have the best product or, , you’re a believer and you love what you do and what have you, but. Are we following up with people and if we’re not, how come right? Are we creating value and and relationships, of course, and that’s what I got. I was like, when so, when I went to, I really never did these.
Exhibitors, but with Tony, I was able to experience it 1st hand. And like I said, Disneyland at its best. And I was able to put everything I learned and I have and into action and I’ve been able to train other people the same way, especially when they’re coming to the mega mix. And so what exactly is transformation of training?
I don’t know if I quite get it. Can go a little bit further. So we’re a coaching program. We coach, we call it quantum coaching, leadership transformation, and it’s an opportunity to start to look at your blind spots or discover or uncover the blind spots and more than anything, not only let’s say the blind spots, but.
The conversation that you’ve been in that has limited your results. So I took the training 30 years ago. I can’t tell you that. I really needed it or needed the motivation because it had nothing to do with that. I was already a self driven motivated individual going to college, you know, by education.
I’m a teacher. I taught first grade kindergarten and I was in college and actually had a real estate license at that time too. And I was invited to these trainings and I was there and I did the training because my broker invited me. And when I was there, I was like, all these people have issues and I’m going to stay here for three days.
What am I doing here? However, I chose to stay and the. The choice of staying was a game changer for me. I really discovered that I didn’t know that I didn’t know where some of my relationships were standing. I thought they were great or okay for what they were supposed to be. But it was a huge eye opener when I was like, wait a minute my relationship with my mother is not all that because what I’ve been inventing or making up is that she is just out there to control me.
She’s the one that sent me to college. She’s living her life through me and, this lady, you know, also talked a lot and so even though my friends would meet her and they would say your mom is so cool I’d be like you can have her for me it was like avoid mom at all costs and coming out of that training that Completely transformed into a new conversation.
It was it went from mom is controlling She’s just out to get me to hey, she just loves me and she wants the best for me And when that happened and that occurred, it was like, I got a new mom. It was like, what happened to her? But it wasn’t her. It was my conversation of her. And so therefore my relationship transformed and I was able to listen to her from a place of love and patience.
And I will tell you 30 years later, mom hasn’t changed. She still tells me what to do. Right. But. The relationship that I’ve had and been able to create and cultivate over 30 years has not only made an impact and a difference with her and I, but my daughter that I have today. It’s like, it just you break these generational sufferings and the way things are, and they don’t work to something that, hey, now there’s freedom and love in the relationships.
And so if we take that and look at how We’ve also as collective worldwide, let’s call it the planet have also as human beings you know, have some conversations and stories about, you know, our spouses, our business you know, our kids, the world. Right? And so. What have we maybe been wanting to be right about what conversations or stories we tell ourselves that are in the way of producing of creating of making things happen that we’re committed to to happen and they can be like, this is a word.
This isn’t for me. You know, this is too hard. You know, a good one is like, All men are the same, right? All women are the same, relationships don’t work, right? But if we take it a step further, is maybe things we’ve made up about our own selves, right? I’m not good enough. I don’t matter. I don’t make a difference.
I’m not important. And so, those conversations are somewhere there. That maybe we’re not aware of it, but how can we know they maybe exist? It starts to look at the results that you have, you know, whether it’s in a relationship, romantic relationships with your children and in your business, in your bank account.
How about your house? And so when we start to have these aha moments or these discoveries on these conversations, we can start to work together. With them to be able to, let’s say, alter them to a new conversation that’s going to work for you because language creates reality. Right, so everybody’s reality is, different from, hey, what do you have to say or, , , what have you been learning or what have you learned or what events have happened in your life that got you to now what you have to say about whatever it is, you know, you’re.
Up to, Diana, this has been a lot. It’s been great to have you on. And I know you’re just giving us a little, taste of what you have to offer through your training. Do you have anything coming up? By the way, any trainings? I know.
Everybody can come to and meet you in person at mega mix. Okay. On March 12th and 13th. But any trainings or anything else that people wanna connect in advance and how can they connect? Yes.
