Show Notes:
Navigating healthcare can be tricky. With so many options, consumers are often left making less than informed decisions. In this episode, Adam Torres and Michael Swartz, President at MediXall.com, explore how MediXall.com is educating consumers and providing them with a solution to navigate the healthcare maze.
About Michael Swartz
When he lost his health insurance about 5 years ago, He experienced the most aggravating and incomprehensible process of trying to find an affordable doctor. While he could find plenty of doctors on Yelp and Google, he could not find anything with regard to pricing besides Urgent Cares, and only a handful of doctors had the option to book online. While going through this process the light bulb went off, “there has to be a better way”. That was the start of my ongoing journey to fix healthcare.
After a couple of years searching for a solution in the market, they decided to build our own to make it easier for consumers to learn, decide, and pay for healthcare, without intruding on the important relationship with trusted doctors. They designed and launched MediXall.com to make shopping for medical, dental & wellness services just as easy as booking a flight or hotel on Priceline & Expedia or a dinner reservation on OpenTable. Through our online marketplace, patients seamlessly connect with doctors while bypassing almost all of the insurance headaches.
About MediXall.com
MediXall.com makes shopping for medical services just as easy as booking a flight or hotel. Through our online marketplace, patients seamlessly connect with doctors while bypassing almost all of the insurance headaches. People want to have the same kind of technology in the doctor’s office that they are using to manage everything else in their lives, whether it’s using an app to book a dinner reservation, check in for a flight from their phone, or manage their finances. And doctors want to give their patients this kind of automated, digital experience but have been challenged with software that’s payer-centric, not patient-centric.
This is why we designed the MediXall.com user experience to mirror other online booking sites found in other markets, providing consumers with user reviews, transparent pricing, and comparative shopping. The MediXall platform is all about making it easier for consumers to learn, decide, and pay for healthcare, without intruding on the important relationship with trusted doctors. With our tools, people can search for the treatment they need, find out how much it will cost them, schedule the appointment, pay for the service, and follow up as needed – all in one place.
