Hey, I’d like to welcome you to another episode of Mission Matters. My name is Adam Torres, and if you’d like to apply to be a guest in the show, just head on over to mission matters.com and click on Be Our Guest to Apply. All right, so today I’m in Beverly Hills, California. I’ll tell you I missed last month, but I am back.
I’m at David Rivero’s Monetize Talks. It is a. Sold out event. If you haven’t been to one of these yet, you need to be here. It’s monetize talks.com and my next guest is a return guest. He’s been on the show before. I’ve been watching Matt, Gary, I’ve been watching you all around the world, traveling, doing all these things.
Welcome back to the show, man. It’s good to see you. Good to see you too. Thanks for having me. So with. Probably been six months since I’ve seen you last, since we’ve been on this show, man. How? How have you been? Times have changed and a lot has changed, but I’m good. First of all, you know I’m healthy. You know?
You’re healthy. We’re here together. Yeah. We haven’t see each other for six months as number one. Blessing. Yeah. A lot has happened in my life in terms of exiting the company to private equity, my theme parks for dogs, and starting on the new venture, which is technology. So much related, we can have a talk today.
It’s gonna incorporate all that with variety vault and everything that I’m trying to do now with the future that’s coming in hand before us. Mm. And how we can change the world with something bigger than what we did before. Yeah. Which before you, you knew that we had. Schools and theme parks for dogs.
Yeah. And now with Humanoid Robotics, you know, we’re looking at another chapter in human civilization. Man, it’s exciting. And and so you’ll be speaking today, you’re one of the speakers. I wanna, let’s get, let’s get into this new concept and what you’re working on. ’cause I haven’t heard about this business yet, maybe.
So, so tell us a little bit more about what you’re, what the company is. So Variety Vault Imports as a whole is an import company. Mm-hmm. Where we bring in luxury development material for hotels, restaurants. Mm-hmm. So we help businesses scale their local business that they have right now. Yeah. So that’s the intentional purpose of it, because then we can supply material.
Mm-hmm. Which they could use to enhance their facilities, whether it’s a restaurant or a hotel. Whatever business they have, we can enhance that business. Similar to what I did with South Park Doggy, which was a theme park for dogs. I took a doggy daycare business and enhanced it to a school in theme parks for dogs.
So can you take a restaurant or hotel and make it better than it is now? Yeah. In order to compete with arrivals. Absolutely. And part of the things that I wanted to incorporate, because besides the materials and the decorative stuff, you need some essence, right? A life. Mm-hmm. The humanoid robotics brings in that AI avenue of our life that we have right now.
Mm. Which if you walk into a restaurant, you walk into a hotel, you might not be greeted by a robot. Now, there are some, the, the restaurants that do have it, mainly in China and around, you know, I would say Asia Dubai, that I’ve seen a lot of these restaurants. Needless to say, the future is coming to us and I want to be one of the forefront figures in bringing that technology and implementing it to the businesses.
Would you consider yourself a serial entrepreneur? Like is, how would you label it? ’cause you’re, man, you’re always into something and I’m just, I’m just curious on my end. I, I guess I’m looking for ways to, to enhance human life, you know, and, and where the robots actually will lead us is unknown because it’ll be implemented in different industries and different businesses.
But you weren’t in robots before, right? No, not at all. So that’s why I’m like, man, how do you get these ideas? Where does it, how do you figure out what is gonna be your. Thing that you go after? That’s a good question. So I’m like, man, how do I, how do I, how do I put you to work, man? That’s what I’m really trying to figure out.
A lot of, a lot of out of the box thinking, you know, and, and nothing to say, you know, I can’t do this, or this is outta my limits, because nothing in life is like that, you know? Mm. Especially if you’ve proven yourself to do one thing, you can prove yourself to do more things Yeah. That others thought you couldn’t do.
Mm-hmm. So, you know. When I said about theme parks for dogs, people were, you know, they were amused actually. They were, yeah. Yeah. Shocked. But you know, when I talk about robots now, they’re still shocked. And I think I like to shock people, I guess what I like to do. ’cause Yeah. You know, what’s the ordinary, you know, I mean, if we were just, let’s say, supplying building materials, then we would just be another contractor developer.
But in this case, with the humanoid robotics, I see a future. Mm-hmm. In a lot of. Things that we see today that we don’t see tomorrow that are gonna be enhanced by these robots. What keeps you motivated? Like as you launch these different like ventures and you do these other, obviously you’ve had some success and you know, money’s a thing, but like what keeps you motivated?
What keeps you in the game to keeps to keep redoing this? Yeah. Well I started South Park doggie with my own investment actually. Mm-hmm. I never borrowed money from banks or anything. I grew the business with them. No, I didn’t know that with my personal power. Mm-hmm. Went from one location to 2, 3, 4 eventually.
Yeah. And when we sold it out. So I think knowing the pedigree of doing it yourself versus asking for other people for help or direction is a good way to learn. However, the next AI robotics company that I’m venturing in. Might get some investment later on down the line. Mm-hmm. You know, we don’t know when exactly, but we are strategizing to have a game plan the next two to three years.
Yeah. Where we would have some company that might be interested in even buying us out. Yeah. Because it’s an early stage robotics company, which are gonna be dominated by Tesla bots and more For sure household names in the future. But right now I feel like. You know it’s gonna be the Gary Bot right now.
What’s it called? It’s Vault Bots. Bot Bots. Bot Bots. How vault? How do you spell that? Vault Bots. D-A-A-L-T. All right. All right. I was gonna say, I thought was gonna be a Gary bot. Come on man. No, aint the same Future Ram. So we got Variety vault, vault bots, vault Pots, vault, LED. These are all three different companies that starting and, and the modular homes, which are the modular home pod pods.
And that’s what Elon Musk is also doing. Mm-hmm. Along with his robots. So am I mirroring Elon Musk? You know, it’s not a bad person to try to I was gonna say, I wish I was, you know, if, if he, if he’s my yeah, yeah. You know, if he’s my they call it Goliath in the industry. If he’s my Goliath, I’m, I’m ready to challenge the Golia.
It’s wonderful because in life, that’s how you have to be. If you want to go for the next level, you have to put yourself in front of other people. Yeah. Whether they’re gonna, you know, buy into your company, buy your company, or. Be part of your company. Yeah. Whatever it is, you gotta have a system and, and something in place.
Mm-hmm. What do you hope that people walk away from today after they hear your speech? I wanna actually empower everybody here because variety of Vault imports my company that I built. Mm-hmm. You know, does the model that we’ve based out is based on memberships. Mm-hmm. People that come into our. Lounge and showroom that we’re gonna have in downtown la Yeah, to January.
I live downtown, man. I’m in. Come on baby. I’m gonna be in there. So you’re gonna be hanging out as a cigar lounge as well. Oh, come on man. So you come. We’re gonna have a Variety Vaults podcast session there. Come on man. I’m in, dude. Yes, we’re gonna have podcast rooms, you know, guys is the main thing is having this room and lounge.
I’m about to launch a cigar show just to have an excuse to come over. We should have mission matters. Do like a home, what do you call it? That’s what I do a day home base. I come to David’s every month and do this. You better believe Im gonna have something over there, man. It’s gonna be awesome because we’re get a lot people, audience.
Amazing. And you have audience and, and I and I wanna bring you more audience to the lounge. Yeah. I want people to come together like they do at David’s. That’s great. I love it, man. And look, you know, so when you’re doing the design and everything, you put that little corner over there. I need my, I need, I need my little spot, man, for my show.
Actually, I have the floor plan I’m gonna show today. So I, everyone’s gonna see the showroom show plan. Alright. You gotta, you gotta gotta put a little mark in there. X mark’s a pie. See that? That’s where Adam’s little, little chair. Adam, I’m gonna get Adam’s corner right there. That’s his chair. Adam, his chair right there.
No, I would love to have you there. Yeah. I mean, you know, you’re such a great talent. You know the reach you have, the people you’ve interviewed, Adam, I’m really a big fan of yours. Before you became a fan of me, honestly, and I admire you for that. Appreciate it and thank you for all the work you’ve done.
And if we can incorporate this in any way, bring in high caliber people to my showroom, it’s gonna be fun, man. And opportunities are endless because what I’m also gonna do is offer everybody that’s here in the audience and that comes to my showroom. To become partners. That’s awesome. So if anybody’s in real estate, you know, lending any kind of business, you can have a side hustle.
Yeah. By having these humanoid robots, luxury brand material add your access. Mm-hmm. Because you never know who your next customer’s gonna be. For sure. And the more people that out there can. Work together and have a percentage of the big pie mm-hmm. I think is gonna spread this like wildfire. That’s what I’m talking about.
Last thing I want you to do, Gary, look into the camera. How do people follow up? How do they follow your story? How do they follow this journey? Just like you did on my Instagram. Yeah. Give it to him. I document everything. You can go on my Instagram. It’s Gary Roberto, R-O-B-O-T-O Worldwide. And that’s my hashtag from Instagram.
