All right, so today I’m in Beverly Hills, California. David Rivera’s monetized Talks.
Let me tell you, this is the sixth. 16th edition. I come every month. Highly recommend people. Go check out monetize talks.com. Would love to see you here at the event. And I was able to grab one of the speakers before he goes on Vito. So Vito, welcome to the show, man. Thank you so much. Thank you for having me.
I’m grateful to be here. Alright, so I’ve been looking forward to this. David told me you gotta get Vito on the show, man. Oh man. He’s the guy he’s gonna deliver. So, uh, that’s what’s up. First off. Yes. Um, start with maybe just a little bit about your background and what you do. Thank you so much. Well, my name’s Vito Glazer.
I’m the CEO. Of Glazer’s Media in West Hollywood, California. Our tagline is, we make famous people rich, and we make rich people famous. Mm. And so we’re a public relations and media production agency. We just produced and helped launch the film. The Rise of OnlyFans. Mm-hmm. It’s on Amazon Prime right now.
Uh, we have about 20 movies that we produce. We’ve written books for clients. Yeah. And we do celebrity collaborations and everything in between. So we’re just super excited to be here at Monetize Talks in Beverly Hills. Yeah. And we have a lot of great value to share with everybody who came today, so thanks for having me.
Mm-hmm. What’s your favorite part about being in media? What do you like about it? You know, my favorite part of being in media is helping people tell their stories. Mm. I originally came to Hollywood with the dream of, you know, telling my story and telling, you know, like acting and doing all that. But what I really found out was that.
If you help enough other people tell their story, yeah. Eventually people will get together and tell your story for you. Right. And then, so I just really fell in love with the artist. Storytelling and giving people a platform. Yeah. Giving people who were unheard. A platform. And that’s part of the reason why we’ve been so successful with the, with the pre uh, prevalence of independent media is before there was only a couple news, you know, news stations, there was only a couple movie studios.
A lot of great stories were being gatekeeper. By the people at the top of these things and now what we have, it’s interesting. That’s a real thing. Yeah. So people that aren’t on the inside, they don’t know like that, that that’s a real thing. Absolutely. Yeah. In fact, some of the movies that I made, part of the, part of the frustration that I had that led me to go on and do my own independent productions was that a lot of my projects, they would get purchased and they would fill, they would shell them.
Wow. ’cause they didn’t want the message from the, the stories getting. Spread to the public. Yeah. And so that’s what gave me the inspiration to start Glazer’s Media, where we do do independent production, where we do give people a platform to tell their story. And it’s just the most satisfying thing when we get a story that would’ve never come out and we make it.
We get it connected to the right audience. Yeah. And it really starts changing lives. Yeah. I think that’s the most important part of our work. How did you take, take me back a little bit in time. How did you originally break into the business in general, whether it’s entertainment, media, like how’d you break in?
So, 15 years ago I got into internet marketing. Mm. And I was a big affiliate for different brands, so I was kind of like an internet advertiser. Yeah. And I really had a good brain for identifying key audiences. Mm-hmm. And connecting them to the right product. But the thing was, it was, it got very boring for me.
It was very like math driven. Mm-hmm. And it was almost like day trading. And it was just like kind of boring for me. And I’m a really creative person and I said, how can I get more creative? How can I get more involved in the creative world? And then as social media started emerging and as new media and digital publicity started becoming more relevant opportunity, more opportunity, I said, you know, I actually, I took a huge pay cut to go from advertising into content creation and into, you know, production.
But in that process now, if you do what you love long enough mm-hmm. The money will always catch up to you. So now you know, I’ve never looked back and now we’re just That’s so interesting. 15 years in, right? Yeah. So it catches up, but it takes some time to build so people know you’re real in the game.
Absolutely. And I really think that we, we really just hit our stride like two, three years ago. Mm. So you’re, you’re always like one day away from giving up from your big break. You know what I mean? Yeah. And so like I always tell people, if you got a dream, just keep going because. A lot of people that told me I was crazy for years and that we would never hit it and that, and now mm-hmm.
The pendulum swung our way and it’s like if we hadn’t kept doing what we were doing Yeah. If we had listened to other people, we’d always be chasing something that mm-hmm. Was not existing, but because we just stay true to what we were doing, now we’re really hitting our stride and yeah. I, yeah. I got lucky to have rag as a co-founder, man.
I’m over, I’m over a six. Thousand interviews in and people, congratulations. If we look, if we look at the history of when we started, I’m like two, 3000 interviews in, and people are like, Adam, like you still don’t have a number one podcast. I’m like, man, I’m not even looking at the stats until I’m over 10,000 because I, I judge myself and I look at the greats and they all have over 30,000, so I’m still a little baby.
Sure. You know, I’m just getting started in this game, but I’m okay with that because there’s a, there’s that. That concept of apprenticeship, absolute learning. Yep. And it’s the same thing you said as a filmmaker. Like you didn’t just start and correct me if I’m like, your first film, your first pro probably wasn’t your best.
Or was it, I don’t know. I don’t wanna put words in your mouth like, yeah, you gotta do the rests. I mean that’s, it depends on how young you were, whatever. But like nobody wants to fail. Everybody just wants to go straight for the top, but they don’t want to. Go on the journey. They don’t wanna do the reps that it takes to get to the top, you know?
So, but you probably already heard it takes a lifetime to become an overnight success, right? Mm-hmm. So by the time people are hearing about you, they don’t know how much work has been put in. Yeah. So just keep that grind up, man, you know? Oh, yeah. The, the, the destination is the journey for sure. You know, for sure people, people want to get the Emmy or they want to get the Academy Award, or they want to get whatever, yeah.
Number one podcast, but. The, the journey is the destination, the award. If somebody just gave you the award without the work Yeah. It’s meaningless. Yeah. Yeah. But to be able to do the work and get to that point and then get recognized for it, I think that’s what’s most satisfying. Yeah. Give us a little bit of a flavor of, because don’t worry, it’s not a spoiler.
The people here are gonna, the, the event’s gonna be long over before, after this. But, uh, again, I want, if you wanna catch some of the next monetized talks, monetized talks. Dot com that you’ll be in the room too. Yeah. But give us a flavor of what you’re gonna talk about tonight. Yeah. So I’m actually bringing brand new material tonight.
Uh, so Ooh, ooh. Try that brand new drop on the presentation room. Yes, yes. You know, I, I, what I really realize, because I do a lot, you know, I feel like. Not this event. This event is actually very high quality, but events, business events in general tend to talk a lot of broad on like the broad ideas or they really get you motivated.
Yeah. But they don’t give you anything that you can actually apply, like some substance, something you could grab on, some you can go home and make money with tomorrow. Yeah. So what I did, I said, you know, I wanna sit down and I want to break down what’s going on. Like how did I take our PR business mm-hmm.
From zero where it was. 10, 12 years ago when I, when we went all into pr. Yeah. And how do we go from zero to where we are now, where we’re generating over $1 million a year, annual recurring revenue? What, what really? Yeah. Were the key factors to that. And so what I’m gonna be sharing tonight is, number one, we’re gonna be talking about the mindset.
Mm-hmm. We’re gonna be breaking down. The number one thing that holds a lot of people back is limiting mindset. Beliefs. Mm-hmm. So caring what other people think. Yeah. So we’re gonna be, we’re gonna be helping people break free of their limiting mindset beliefs first. Mm-hmm. Number two, we’re gonna talk about how.
I was able to generate leads for our business mm-hmm. In a method that anybody, no matter what business you have, can do. Yeah. And it was, it’s a hundred percent free. And I did this before we could ever afford to, uh, uh, run paid advertising and do other bigger advertising and celebrity collab and stuff.
This is the advertising method that I specifically used, and I’m gonna be sharing that tonight and everybody can apply it. I’m not gate keeping the method. And then the third thing that we’re going to be sharing tonight is a method that I, uh, that I use to sell and to create value and, and make the sale.
Mm. And then the fourth thing that we’re gonna be sharing tonight is basically a secret of how you can keep. Delivering a better service to your client. Mm. And not have to keep hunting clients down and finding new business. And that’s one of the secrets. And I’m gonna show exactly how we did that and we’re gonna share that four part strategy.
Mm-hmm. And hopefully people can take those things apply to their business and they’re gonna see immediate results. Amazing. All. Alright. Bedo, I hear they’re calling you to the stage. I can hear, let’s go it through This’s Go. I want, last thing I want you to do, I want you to look into the camera and tell people how they can follow you, how they can follow your work, how they can check out your business and connect with your team.
