Along the way, She started a blog for social media advice and tips. In that process, She fell in love with this little app called Instagram. She wanted to know more, She wanted to use it strategically. But, at that time in 2013, no one was blogging about Instagram consistently. So She did. Every week. She tested and experimented. She blogged about results and suggestions. She started ranking on Google. People started searching me out as a speaker and inviting me onto podcasts. She was invited to write “Instagram for Business for Dummies” and later “Instagram for Dummies”. She built a brand as an Instagram expert.

And that afforded her the opportunity to teach more. To speak at more events. To teach more webinars and training. To provide Instagram training to more businesses, marketers, and students around the world. To consult for clients of all different sizes to help them with their strategies. She has been featured in Inc., Fox News, Yahoo Finance, HuffPost, The Verge, CBS Radio LA, and numerous other podcasts and publications to share her knowledge and expertise with people in all types of industries.

Yes, She specializes in Instagram marketing and she loves me some Instagram. But she still loves social media in general, strategic planning, and other individual platforms. She loves taking her scientific mindset to analyze social media performance, test theories, and review results. Her career background includes design, product development, project management, marketing, sales, human resources, and business administration. And when she looks at social media, she looks at more than “likes” or comments. She looks at the impact social media can have across your entire organization because she understands how all of your departments can benefit from an online presence.
