About Nicole Kalil
Nicole Kalil on Coaching others to win by blood. Her father was a professional soccer coach, and at a very young age she can remember the thrill of him pushing her and others to be their best.
She wanted to pass on that gift of high expectations. Not surprisingly, during college she supplemented her time and income by coaching! Their co-ed cheer leading team won the national championship title in 2002, the highlight of her coaching career.
Upon graduation she started her career with Northwestern Mutual, not knowing the twists and turns that journey would take her on, but knowing without a shadow of a doubt that leadership was where she wanted to be. As the first female Development Officer in their company’s history, she quickly realized that developing others to achieve milestones and accolades inspired her even more than when she achieved them herself. There is nothing like the thrill of being part of someone’s success. Her leadership style is authentic.
She is a direct, honest communicator. She says what she means, and means what she says.
She cares about those she works with, and wants them to grow into a potential that they might not even see in themselves yet.
A responsible leader, she challenges those she works with while creating room for growth and mistakes. She thrives when working with high performance teams.
As a team member, she is committed, engaged, and reliable. If she tells you I’ll do something, you can take it to the bank. Her personal growth is a top priority… you’ll likely catch her in the middle of another great book on leadership!
About Nicole Kalil (Company)
We work to remove the roadblocks, biases and challenges that trailblazing, professional women face so that they can thrive as their authentic selves.
All too often, women are told that they can’t be it all – a leader at home and at the office. But that isn’t true and the tides are turning. Meanwhile, men in organizations are told that they have to change and adapt, but they’re not told where or how to start.
Our vision is to see women and men come alive by getting clarity on who they are, who they’re not, and embracing all of it.
This level of authenticity will create environments where the unique abilities, perspectives and qualities of all leaders—regardless of gender—will drive confidence, choice and value in every area of life and work.
