Sustainable investing was once considered a fad by many. But with more consumers voting with their dollars, sustainable investing has become more than just a perceived altruistic pursuit. In this episode, Adam Torres and Victor Orozco, Partner at Bair Financial Planning, explore how sustainable investing is changing the marketplace.
About Victor Orozco
Victor Orozco is a managing partner at Bair Financial Planning. His role is centered around operations. Most notably, managing our clientele through the financial planning process, as well as conducting comprehensive analysis on investment portfolios.
Victor’s goal is to uphold Bair Financial Planning’s mission: “We create trusted relationships, allowing our clients to shift the burden of financial matters to us and regain time for their passions”. Victor’s zeal for solving puzzles and creating relationships with people gave him the fundamental tools to truly be passionate about what he does for our clients. He sits on the Investment Strategy Committee for the Wealth Consulting Group and co-manages the High Impact Portfolios. These portfolios consider Environmental, Social, and Governance factors, in addition to financial due diligence when evaluating investment options giving clients an opportunity to align their wealth with their values. The return on Environmental. Social, and Governance (ESG) investments may be lower than if the adviser made decisions based solely on investment considerations.
You can find the Orozco’s in their neighborhood of Little Italy. If you need a restaurant recommendation or a great vendor at the Farmer’s market in that neighborhood, they are your people. They enjoy taking their daughter to the beach and the park. When it comes to their sports teams they do not always see eye to eye. Bethel cheers on all teams Boston. Victor roots on the LA Dodgers, New Orleans Saints (he is a recent San Diego Charger convert), and the San Diego State Aztecs!
