About Michael Cameron
Michael Cameron brings 30 years of financial services and real estate experience to clients, including serving as Vice President at UBS, Paine Webber and US Bancorp, where he managed more than $80 million in individual investor assets. At PaineWebber, Michael ranked in the top 50 of his national peer group of more than 3400 individuals, achieving the elite National Pacesetter status. He co-created and co-hosted a radio talk show called “The Wall Street Hour” which featured financial news, related topics and influential guests.
While at UBS PaineWebber, Michael Co-Founded a software startup called NetWorth Services (Google: NetWorth Services), which reconciles cost basis information for IRS form Schedule D. NetWorth Services’ products have been used by the Internal Revenue Service, Depository Trust & Clearing Corp, Edward Jones, KPMG, Morgan Stanley, as well as independent accountants and financial advisors worldwide. Michael was instrumental in developing the flagship NetBasis program, and served as the Chief Operating Officer until 2003.
Most recently in 2004, Michael launched Cameron Real Estate Services (CRES) in his hometown of San Diego, California. With extensive knowledge of the CA and AZ real estate markets, he began investing in rehab and flip real estate projects. In 2006, he was a top producer at Prudential California Real Estate, and in 2007 earned the Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) designation. Michael was named among the Top Realtors in 2009, 2010, 2012 and 2013 by readers of SD Magazine, and became a Distressed Property Expert (CDPE) in 2010. Mike is a member of the National (NAR), CA (CAR) and SD Assoc. of Realtors (SDAR) and served for 4 years on the Budget & Asset Committee and the Investment Committee at SDAR. Michael is currently the Managing Office Broker of Keller Williams in Carmel Valley with 200+ licensed agents.
