Today, I am in Los Angeles, California at the Social Conscious. Wait, is this the Social Conscious Exit?
Conscious Living. Conscious Living Exit. I don’t even know where I’m at right now. Larry’s late. How’d you get me on the show? Well, Larry, welcome. Good day here. It’s good to be here, Adam. I appreciate it. All right. So I’m just here for the first time and learning about FreshMouth. So, first off, maybe just tell us a little bit about the product.
Tell us about what you do. Sure. Absolutely. So, what we do is we’re a non fluoride, non toxic you know toothpaste, which a lot of people are trying to get away from fluoride nowadays, which is I mean, extremely well before I does literally toxic waste. So I know our dentist will tell us that’s the greatest thing since sliced bread, but it’s not.
So, I mean, they got all kinds of studies on it. I mean, it’s one of the most toxic substances known to man, less than a gram will kill a full size human being. Wow. So that’s what we’re using in our mouth every day. And it. Fetting kids even worse than that. I mean, children have actually died where you got into the business though.
I’m curious. I did not know So I mean I come from my background is I come from the health care industry. I actually ran no idea Now you come over here. I did. Yeah Similar so I was in health care. So I did a health insurance Actually, I ran one of the largest health insurance agencies in the whole country.
So we did amazing we had about Four to 5, 000 agents nationwide. And we, we sold out ventures, a lot of it. And Obamacare kind of messed up our gig for sure. Really kind of ruined the agency. So we had to kind of seek out other products to sell like supplementary insurance products. So we got actually pretty deep involved in the dental.
So that’s kind of the segue into dental. So dental insurance, we actually have our own dental plan. So we were selling dental insurance. And I mean, unfortunately, insurance has been politicalized, you know, so, you know, and It was rough because of course that’s my business. So I was going up and down depending on who gets an office and all this other stuff.
So I decided I need to do something outside of insurance. So I have a really good relationship with a lot of insurance companies because we wrote a lot of business. So so we were, I went through the insurance companies and I says, Hey, if we produce the product. That literally was like, you know, preventative and helped people like, you know, with cavities and all this other stuff.
Was that something that you would get behind? So I went to the insurance companies and said, would you back this product for us? So would you, you know, market it to all the members? So it was actually a get rich quick scheme that didn’t happen so quick. I got it. Yeah. The insurance companies actually said yes, because I have really good relationships with them.
They said, Hey, if you could get some backing, we would do this. So we dug in deep and that’s where I found out about fluoride actually. So I literally was going to use another fluoride type toothpaste, but we were researching what’s the best and why, and what we could do to, you know, help our mouth and stuff and oral biome.
So as we studied it and started really checking into it, we found that all this stuff out that it’s toxic. It’s hugely poisonous to it. It reduces IQ by as much as 20%. I mean, it’s really bad. That we’re all like. I didn’t know any of that. I’m right. A lot of my listeners are going to be like, what, what are you telling me right now?
Well, because their dentist will tell you, no, it’s the greatest thing since sliced bread. It’s not, you know, I mean, it’s really, it’s horrible for us. And so after really digging in deep and figuring that stuff out, I was like, wow, you know, let’s just do it all natural too, facing it will be good. So we were looking at like Tom’s and some other products.
Well, I found out that, you know what? Natural toothpaste isn’t good for us either. Oh, come on, man. I’m over here going to say, yeah, if you Right, right. Thank you. Go ahead. Unfortunately, the reason, I mean, it’s not poison, so that’s really good. But unfortunately, it doesn’t have the ability to kill the bacteria that causes tooth decay, gingivitis, and all this other stuff.
So, that got ruled out. So, I mean, I really didn’t come into this with the intention to make my own toothpaste. Yeah. I was going to say that wasn’t your like niche. You would think you wanted to be in the space, but Toothpaste. Yeah. So I was like, you know, after finding all this out, I was like, well, I don’t even know what I’m going to use myself anymore.
So we started researching making, you know, toothpaste. Like I said, that was not my intention, but everything is kind of. For newers watching, how’d you get into the business? Well, and it, you know, it’s kind of one of those things that just everything fell into place. So as we started researching doing stops, it’s just, everything was like, boom, boom, boom.
It just started. And even during a lousy time, I mean, during COVID is when we put the company together. So it was like, wow, it’s like everything just fits so perfect. So when we finally have it and then we have actual clinical backing that what we do is, is we use silver. So nano silver, silver is one of the most powerful antibacterial products known to man.
So we used it for the antibacterial aspect. Well, what I didn’t know is silver is also a healing agent. So it heals, it regenerates. We use silver in a hospital settings and burn victim silver nitrate regrowth skin. So it has these regenerative features, healing features. It heals like nothing else. So nanoparticles is what we use and actually penetrates the interior of our teeth and it regrows our enamel, which is amazing.
Nothing, nothing else has ever been able to do that. We literally have customers that have cavities heal over in about four to six weeks. Gum tissue regeneration in about six to eight months. Now those are two things your dentist says that’s not possible. But nano silver is doing this and it’s not even there’s clinical studies.
We have the studies. We didn’t do them. We were just kind of one of the first to put it in a toothpaste. Yeah. Which we’d had amazing results with. And actually we went, we took this to the insurance companies and they were like, wow, this is amazing. And, and I was like, well, let’s do this, you know? And they said, yeah, they like, all you gotta do is put fluoride in it and we’re good to go.
And I was like. Wait, did you not, let me back up. You didn’t meet me. That’s the first part of it. You know? So we went in, they were like, no, no, we heard the first part. He’s like, but we won’t do it without fluoride tomorrow. And I was like, wow. But like, I’m just not built that way. So I was like, you know what?
And I could have, I could have just marketed it right. So, and these are some big companies that I were talking about and I could have just been like, Hey. But I was like, nah, I want to, you know, I just said, I’ll just do it on my own. So that’s what we did. It’s kind of hit the road. Your partner, but one of my buddy of mine and partner Tony we kind of just started doing trade shows cross country.
So, so tell me where you’re at with the company today, where it stands today and kind of like your vision for the future. Yeah. I mean, we’re, we were doing amazing. I mean, our growth potential is really below is it really skyrocketed? We do a subscription based programs. So we’re like direct tickets, customers.
We’re not really in retail, not that we wouldn’t, but I mean, that’s not our main goal right now. So subscription based direct to consumer, we could offer our products a lot cheaper. And I mean, you know, the subscription works really well because it’s not like you don’t buy this stuff. Anyway, we drop it off for you.
We give it to you cheaper, easier for it to get it. We give you a free shipping, but you also have the ability to just buy it individually as well. We just, it’s just a little cheaper. Like I said, in the free shipping, if you do the subscription, that has grown tremendously. And the amount of people that are really looking for that kind of thing has been really amazing.
And of course, a lot of people are trying to move away from fluoride and getting into more healthier living and stuff. Yeah. So that’s what we do a lot of health and wellness and stuff like that, because I mean, well, wellness actually starts in the mouth. So, I mean, if, if you’re sick in your mouth, you got problems there, you’re going to have problems throughout your body.
So I consider ourselves more of a wellness type company. And then we’ve expanded, of course, we do, like I said, we have the nanosilver toothpaste. We do a rinse. We do UV sanitation you know, for our, our stuff. I would show you like the toothbrush and stuff. We have the UV sanitizers because your toothbrush is the filthiest thing in your house, more bacteria than your toilet.
And we put them in our mouth every day, not thinking about it. So this actually cleans it. So we kind of had a lot of forethought. We give you everything you need and our kids, the UV, we do ozone generation because ozone is super beneficial for us. And we’ve even been moving into water. We have our reverse osmosis taking the fluoride out of water.
So we’re really kind of a non fluoride company, everything about health and wellness in the mouth. So that’s kind of, yeah. Well, Larry, last thing I want you to do, I want you to look in the camera.
